Access
10 minute walk up the hill from Onomichi Station.
Exit from the unpopular side of the station and climb the hill through a path.
It may be a little difficult, but please do your best.
* Please note that if you are looking for a route with the map app, a steep route will be suggested.
We will guide you through a relatively easy route with a video in the guidance email after booking.
Plane
Airport limousine bus
The large limousine bus from Hiroshima Airport goes to Mihara Station, so please change to the train from there.
A “Debeliner”
“A Debeliner, shared jumbo taxi for 9 people” runs directly to JR Onomichi Station.
Shinkansen
Shinkansen Nozomi
Please get off the Shinkansen at Fukuyama Station and transfer to the JR Sanyo Main Line.You can transfer to a train within Shinkansen Fukuyama Station on JR Fukuyama Station Sanyo Main Line bound for Hiroshima. It takes about 20 minutes to JR Onomichi Station.
Shinkansen Hikari
Only the Shinkansen Hikari stops at Shin-Onomichi Station. It is far from the center of Onomichi, so please take a bus or taxi. It takes about 15 minutes by Shin-Onomichi Station Route Bus bound for JR Onomichi Station.
Bicycle
For those who come by bicycle, we will guide you to the bicycle parking lot under the slope. Alternatively, we will introduce a detour route with few stairs, so please bring your bicycle to the inn by yourself.
Car
The guest house does not have a parking lot. Please let us know if you are coming by car.
We will show you the parking lots nearby. (From 1,000 yen a day)
Getting Around from Onomichi
Once you arrive in Onomichi, the Setouchi Area Pass is a practical option for travelling further across the region. It covers the Sanyo Shinkansen and a wide range of local lines — useful if you plan to visit Hiroshima, Miyajima, or Shikoku during your trip.
